The Clinton County Canine Club's therapy dog class prepares dog/handler teams for therapy dog evaluation. The teams are then certified to visit hospitals, schools, and other facilities in the area.
One therapy dog organization active in the area is Aliance of Therapy Dogs. Information on Alliance of Therapy Dog membership requirements can be found here. To become members, dog and handler teams must pass an evaluation and complete several supervised visits.
